The goal was to craft a landscape that felt timeless yet tailored Hamptons-meets New England where modern living unfolds with ease and intention.

The design organizes the property into a sequence of distinct yet connected destinations. A generous back terrace flows seamlessly from the house, supporting everyday gatherings and year-round entertaining. It links to a screened porch and outdoor kitchen, creating an easy rhythm. Beyond, the pool terrace becomes the centerpiece for summer its layered spaces of sun and shade, openness and enclosure, inviting both energy and calm.

A meadow introduces a pastoral tone, visually softening the geometry of terraces and paths while giving the impression of land long settled. Mixed trees and massed ornamental grasses near seating areas reinforce the meadow character, connecting architecture to its broader setting. Oil-and-stone drives, layered plantings, and the quiet rhythm of stone walls evoke a sense of permanence. The design conceals technical complexity beneath its calm exterior, subtly shaping grades and drainage to create balance and flow.
